The scenery is atmospheric and spooky and there are a few decent shots here though outweighed by the rest of the production values looking cheap. So the only reason to watch this dreck is to see the scene in question for yourself and then decide if an official investigation needs to be initiated. We didn't get to know any of the characters in this 74 minute production. Dog wasn't handled properly, so I hope someone looks into that. Which is why it is such a shame that 'Talon Falls' went downhill so drastically. Kept me at the edge of my seat at least 80% of the time.
But the idea of the torture setup etc was pretty neat. Competently shot with an interesting premise but to full of bad acting and cliches to be enjoyable. When you delve into the bad B grade movies, you expect to see a lot of cheese and bad acting. How many if any will escape? Morgan Wiggins, Jordyn Rudolph, Brad Bell and Ryan Rudolph star. What will their fate be? The absurd premise could be overlooked if they actually had made a shocker film or something that was actually gory, but it is just lame.
After witnessing an assortment of torture and gore. After witnessing an assortment of torture and gore. Though this film is nothing new it was fairly short at just over an hour long and it was an enjoyable watch. You have a massive haunted house drawing three hour waits. The highlight being that Morgan Wiggins can really belt out a scream.
It could have been, but it just fell short. Admittedly, the Scream Park attraction was a nice addition to the genre, it's not enough or pulled off well-enough to warrant watching this over something like your 50th re-watch of Saw or Hostel. First of all, the production value is incredible. When one of them suffers terrible foot blisters and slows the team up, they decide to split up and head for the end via the Amazon river when they become separated. A popular Ed Wood device. He survives on his own for 3 weeks in the jungle until he is discpvered by his friend, who wont give up and go home without him.
Lets start with the positives. After witnessing an assortment of torture and gore. This movie is free on Prime right now, so if your options are watching a repeat or this, give Talon Falls a try. It was a bit to much with the stupid screaming girls. Check out the picture below to see what I mean. Too many characters are too sketchy and with nowhere near enough to make one want to endear to them. The outcome was also predictable.
My major gripe is this film is loooooong. Reviewed by frightliners 3 Some of the scenes were cool. The Necro-borg fight each other until the other dies. Guess how that works out. It wasn't the best horror movie, but it certainly wasn't the worst horror movie I have seen. Their paths ultimately collide in an explosion of blood soaked chaos, leaving our anti-heroes to decide whether this box is worth their lives. The scary is in the lost, the alone, the quiet.
I met the guy at the gas station the other night. This movie was a little cliche, but it was nicely done, and I sure did like the haunted house aspect of it. This is a me-too film. The acting is typical of this genre but that's not necessarily a distraction. The film is both comedically excellent and visually stunning. While the formula is one that has been done before a group of young people on a back roads road trip , the idea of a Haunted House Horror Attraction with the victims as the actual stars of the show unbeknownst to the audience was a bit different.
Gore and torture for gore and torture's sake. It starts out like your standard slasher with a group of teens going on a trip. Synopsis Talon Falls is a movie starring Brad Bell, Fred Biggs, and Lonnie Bloomburg. Let´s face it, the movie is bad and knowing how it´s going to end make it worst. There may be two lines of dialogue in this thing that sound like people actually speak, and the holes that this thing makes for itself. So that completely ruins the whole plot.
The music definitely elevates it significantly. It's a rip off of Funhouse Massacre, but it's still enjoyable. At no point do you actually see anyone make it through, the film implies that pretty much everyone who goes in becomes a part of the show, so how are so many people, enough to bring three hour waits, hearing so much about this place? Too bad the plost is not the best in this case, the actors, well they can scream but not much more. I mean in what hospital do you get a bandaid over your eyes without an eye injury? Daniel Radcliffe brings a decent performance, sometimes he lost me and felt he was over-acting at certain points. Nothing worth watching unless u like to watch people running around and abandoning others. This movie is sort of a cheap hostel rip off with people being tortured in front of an audience, or more like they charge the price of entry like a haunted house and they scare people. User 3 Review: A survival film that pins Daniel Radcliffe in a jungle to face the natural elements of the area and his own mind as well.
They are trapped and are doomed to be murdered in gruesome fashion by a group of faceless psychopaths. Their irritating and illogical decision making and behaviours frustrates. So how was the film? Before they know it, each one of hem is captured and made part of the horrific attraction they originally thought was all fun and games. What also helps is its relatively short running time of less than an hour and a quarter. Worst of all, there is a sequence in the film midway through where a dog is repeatedly shown being restrained in a highly questionable manner, one in which it appears that the animal could have very seriously injured itself.
